  1. 1) Details of how the stack height for both the proposed new crematorium and the current temporary crematorium have been calculated. Guidance PG5-2 suggests using the D1 method, please provide a copies of the D1 calculations or similar.

  5. 1. Are the contents of public street recycling bins in your council area?

    2. If the contents of these bins are recycled, please provide details of how the recyclables are identified and separated from general waste because it appears that the same waste bags are used for both.

    3. If the contents of these bins are recycled, please provide details of what can be recycled from these bins (please also specify which types of plastics, if any).

    4. If the contents of these bins are recycled, please provide details of where they are sent for sorting - which recycling centre or contractor.

    5. If a contractor deals with public street recycling bins, please provide the contract that specifies the requirements for recycling the contents of these bins.

    6. When were public street recycling bins first introduced?

    7. Were the public street recycling bins introduced as part of a trial? If so, please provide the dates between which the contents of these bins have been treated as recyclables.

    8. If the contents of these bins are not currently recycled, have the council communicated this with local residents?

  6. Please could you release information under the Freedom of Information Act (2000):

    Any Caravan Site within your Local Planning Authority Areas with "Deemed" Planning Permission under Section 17 of the Control of Development Act (1960) Act.

    1. Any land / Property within your Local Authority Area which operated as a Caravan Site pre-1960 which was subsequently granted with a Site Licence.

    2. Any Caravan Site which is operating with a Site Licence which does not have Planning Permission. These sites would have been issued with a deemed Planning consent pursuant to S.17 of the 1960 Act I.e. along with the mandatory issuing of a Site Licence which the 1960 Act introduced.

  8. I would like to know whether the Authority has carried out any form of bin survey over the past five years. Can the Authority provide the number of bin surveys it has conducted in each calendar year since 2014?

    If applicable, can the Authority also provide the number of households subject to bin surveys in the same period? For clarity, a bin survey is used to identify the types of rubbish being thrown away by households or which bins are being used, or both.

  9. I would be grateful if you can provide me (under the terms of the Environmental Information Regulations) with a copy of the original deed of gift by which I understand the Council acquired Stoke Park and its ancillary Buildings, any amendment made to that deed in the meantime. I am particularly concerned about the potential loss, albeit perhaps on the basis of a lease, of a community facility gifted to Guildford. Please would you also, under the same EIR request, provide me with a copy of any executed lease between the Council and any third party in respect of this property.
