The Local Government Association’s annual conference took place at the Bournemouth International Centre this year from July 7th - July 9th. Please advise:
1. The names of any councillors or council officers from your local authority that attended.
2. Did your local authority pay any delegate/registration fees for those attending? If so, how much was spent collectively and individually for each person who attended?
3. Did your local authority pay, or has it agreed to pay, any expenses for those attending? If so, how much was spent (or agreed to be spent) collectively and individually for each person who attended?

Please find the answers to your queries below:
The Local Government Association’s annual conference took place at the Bournemouth International Centre this year from July 7th - July 9th. Please advise:
1. The names of any councillors or council officers from your local authority that attended.

2. Did your local authority pay any delegate/registration fees for those attending? If so, how much was spent collectively and individually for each person who attended?
The total cost was £599 + VAT, however please note that this was split 50/50 with Waverley Borough Council. Therefore, Guildford Borough Council only paid 50% of this amount in total (i.e. £299.50 + VAT).
3. Did your local authority pay, or has it agreed to pay, any expenses for those attending? If so, how much was spent (or agreed to be spent) collectively and individually for each person who attended?
£238 was spent on hotel accommodation (including breakfast) for the duration of the conference – again please note that this was split 50/50 with Waverley Borough Council. Therefore, Guildford Borough Council only paid 50% of this amount in total (i.e. £119). An additional £48.48 was spent on expenses for meals (one lunch and two dinners) over the course of the event.
