1. What is the final cost of the road work in Tunsgate which I understand has taken longer than expected? 2. The estimated cost of the colour brick scheme for Chapel Street and Castles Street. Indeed the granite sets in Chapel Street have only recently been restored.
Response
1. Our projected final account for Tunsgate is £837,000. The final account will be agreed with Surrey County Council soon.
2. We have a concept scheme for Chapel Street, which was developed as part of the wider scheme covering Tunsgate, Chapel Street and Castle Street. More detailed design work is required (which we haven't started yet) before we can finalise details of the scheme and provide a cost estimate.
