I would be grateful if you could provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
1. The total number of garage units owned by the council?
2. The current management arrangement for these units (for example, self-managed, managed by a third party, or vacant)?
3. The estimated or reported occupancy rate and/or void rate for the garage units?
4. The relevant key contacts for management of these garage units, including name, job title, email address, and telephone number?

Please find the answers to your queries below:
I would be grateful if you could provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
1. The total number of garage units owned by the council?
1,857, including 4 hard standings.
2. The current management arrangement for these units (for example, self-managed, managed by a third party, or vacant)?
Day to day management and maintenance is handled in-house, by one member of part-time staff.
3. The estimated or reported occupancy rate and/or void rate for the garage units?
1,350 garages are currently tenanted. 507 garage units are currently void.
4. The relevant key contacts for management of these garage units, including name, job title, email address, and telephone number?
Please note that we do not publish the names and contact details of Guildford Borough Council employees, because it constitutes personal data under Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for employees whose names are not already publicly available.
