Response
Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Guildford Borough Council publishes the information you have requested each year.
Information including ratepayers’ names, where they are not an individual, and reliefs including small business rate relief can be found at the following website: https://www.guildford.gov.uk/bratesdata.
The 2026 data is due to be published in the next few weeks.
Each of these pages also holds an explanation of the contents.
Please note that accounts can cover multiple properties. As we hold credits at account level and they can occur for a variety of reasons, not all of which are associated with a property, we cannot simply link a credit to a property. It is therefore not possible to provide the property address or reference that you have requested.
As the information that is available is already in the public domain or about to be published I consider this information to be exempt from disclosure on request under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as it is already available elsewhere.
Yours sincerely,
FOI Team
Guildford Borough Council
