Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting information the following information regarding vacant commercial properties currently owned or managed by your council:
1. The total number of empty commercial properties in 2025.
2. The total number of empty commercial properties in 2024 and 2023.
If possible, please also provide:
1. A breakdown of empty properties by category (e.g., retail, office, industrial, leisure).
2. The length of time properties have been empty.

We have considered your request for information dated 30 March 2026.
You requested the following information:
1. The total number of empty commercial properties in 2025.
2. The total number of empty commercial properties in 2024 and 2023.
If possible, please also provide:

I can confirm that the Council holds information relating to its vacant land and buildings however we do not record the length of time specific properties are vacant therefore this information is not held.
