This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I am seeking information about the installation of solar panels on council homes.

1. Can you tell me how many residential council homes you own and how many of them have solar panels installed?

2. Can you also tell me how many council homes had solar panels installed in each of the last five financial years (so 21/22, 22/23, 23/24, 24/25 and 25/26)?

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I am seeking information about the installation of solar panels on council homes.

1. Can you tell me how many residential council homes you own and how many of them have solar panels installed?

We own 5,395 residential council homes and 65 known properties are fitted with Solar panels.

2. Can you also tell me how many council homes had solar panels installed in each of the last five financial years (so 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26)?

We do not hold this information, however no solar panels have been installed since at least the 2022/23 financial year.
