I would like to know:
For the years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, how many pregnant women were in temporary accommodation in your local authority?
How many pregnant women were in B&Bs in each year?
Response
In 2014, 2 pregnant women were accommodated in B&B and 0 pregnant women were accommodated in other temporary accommodation.
The equivalent figures for the other years are - 2015: 2 and 1; 2016: 2 and 4; 2017: 1 and 8; 2018: 1 and 6.
NOTES: some of these households were in temporary accommodation for more than one year; these figures exclude women who already have children (we are not necessarily told of pregnancy in existing homeless families).
