Request

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information:

Please advise of the efficiency savings your Council achieved in the financial year 2025/26 which savings, if any, were due to advice from the Local Government Association. This could include from LGA peer review, attending LGA conferences, or reading LGA research.

If listing all the savings would be too onerous please restrict to any identified savings you have recorded of over £100,000.

I can confirm that the Council has not received an LGA Corporate Peer Challenge Report in the last 5 years and we do not hold any records showing that Guildford Borough Council has made saving specifically because of LGA advice.

If listing all the savings would be too onerous please restrict to any identified savings you have recorded of over £100,000.
